Two kHz off, it's at 3,756 kHz by night.

DSP Tech on my Sony 6CD Car Radio

Apparently my 2008 Sony 6CD Ford Car Radio has some DSP.

DSP stands for digital sound processing and has been recently used on many amateur radios possibly providing better tuning, reception and sound quality.

I wonder if the DSP on my car radio is the same DSP.

AM Band Scan in Moscow

An AM Band scan in Moscow that I did in March 2016 on my car radio.

Stations heard here:

549 kHz UKR UR 1 Persha Prog. Mykolaiv/Luch
612 kHz RUS Narodnoye Radio/Radio Radonezh
738 kHz WRN - NHK World Russian
1134 kHz RUS Radio Teos
1413 kHz MDA Vesti FM Grigoriopol/Maiac

The AM Band is not in use much in Moscow or in Russia in general and not in the former Soviet Union either.

Capital FM Moscow 105.2 MHz now at 105.3 MHz

Capital FM Moscow is Moscow's only radio station broadcasting in English currently.

The funny thing is that, literally two days after I made the above video, the station seems to have migrated from 105.2 MHz to 105.3 MHz and for while could still be heard at 105.2 MHz but with strange RDS.

I think it now broadcasts at 105.3 Mhz on the FM band here in Moscow.
